Contractors Heating / Cooling Supply's roots go back to the early 1940's as part of Provo Plumbing & Heating Supply. With the growth of the heating division of Provo Plumbing & Heating during the 70's, the decision was made to start a new company to focus on the Heating & Air Conditioning side of the business. In 1976, Contractors Heating / Cooling Supply was created, and moved to their current location in Orem. At that time, CHCS signed an agreement to become a Bryant, Day & Night, and Payne Distributor for the State of Utah with territories in Eastern Nevada and Western Wyoming. In 1980 Contractors HVAC Supply was opened in Salt Lake City to serve Northern Utah. In 2007 we welcomed the Carrier brand on board, and now carry Bryant, Carrier & Payne in all of our locations.
Today we are still a locally owned and operated company with 100+ employees at 8 locations from St. George to Ogden. We carry a complete inventory of equipment and commodities to support our Dealers in the Heating & Air-conditioning field.
With over 30 years of being a Bryant distributor we are committed to training opportunities for our employees and dealers and support a strong Dealer network throughout our territory. We stock a full line of parts for both the current and previous models of Bryant, Carrier & Payne equipment as well as for all other lines we carry.
